Multipurpose Rooms 209, 211, 219

These multipurpose rooms are to be used for registered campus organization meetings and departmental meetings. Each room has a standard layout of tables and chairs, and the layout of the room can be changed according to needs for a meeting or event. Charges may apply for staff time to make the layout changes.

There is a full audiovisual system in each room capable of playing music, showing DVD/blue ray movies, computer presentations and cable TV. Use of the audiovisual system is by reservation only.

  • Rooms may only be used by reservation, no drop-in use.
  • Moving furniture from one room to the next or out of the building is prohibited.

Multipurpose Room 217

This room is primarily configured for dance practices for registered campus dance groups. This room may also be used for meetings and can be configured to match the standard layout of the other meeting rooms.

There is a full audiovisual system in this room capable of playing music, showing DVD/blue ray movies, computer presentations and cable TV. Use of the audiovisual system is by reservation only.

  • Rooms may only be used by reservation, no drop-in use.
  • Moving furniture from one room to the next or out of the building is prohibited.
  • Food and drinks, other than water, are prohibited in this room.

Weight Room

The weight room is open for drop-in recreation only and cannot be reserved.

  • Proper clothing is required; no bare feet or sandals, no cut-off shorts or jean shorts and shirts must cover the torso.
  • Re-rack weights when done using them.
  • Wipe down equipment with cleaner and towels provided.
  • Do not remove weights from the weight room.
  • Do not drop weights.
  • Spotters are highly recommended.
  • No food or drink, other than water and sports drinks, allowed in the weight room.
  • Day-use lockers are available to store personal belongings. The Recreation & Athletics department staff will not hold/store your personal belongings and the staff is not responsible for lost or stolen articles.
  • There is a 30-minute time limit on cardio equipment when there is a wait list.

Cycling Studio

This space is to be used for group fitness programs, personal training and other fitness activities. 

  • During nonreserved times, the space may be used for appropriate drop-in cycling. Reservations have priority over drop-in activities.
  • Drop-in use is on a first come, first served basis. If a conflict arises, the Recreation & Athletics staff member on duty will have final determination on the use of the space.
  • The music/PA system in the room is for Recreation & Athletics classes. Groups may provide their own music in the Cycling Studio.
