Policies and Procedures
 

Rate Policy
 
-Students and members of the Recreation & Athletics Program receive reduced rental rates. 
-Member rates apply for currently enrolled UC Merced undergraduate and graduate students, faculty and staff who have a current membership to the Joseph Edward Gallo Recreation Center. 
-Valid identifications required for all rentals.
-Non-students must be 18 or older to rent equipment
 

Deposit Rates

 

-$100 per item; more for selected items.
-Members may use check or credit card for deposit.
-Non-members must leave a credit card deposit,
 

Cleaning, Damage, Replacement Policy
 
-Cleaning Fee=$10 per item.
-Damage gear subject to repair fees at market rates.
-Lost or un-rentable = Full retail value of item.
 

Pick-Up/Return Policy
 
-Rentals can be picked up or returned any time during regular hours of the Joseph Edward Gallo Recreation Center. 
-Late Rentals will be charged at the additional day rate. 
-A cleaning fee is charged on all items returned wet and/or dirty.
-To dry tents: Hang or set up in a well-ventilated area. To clean tents: Use a damp sponge and cloth.
