Men's Basketball Home Opener Friday

The Bobcat Men's Basketball team opens their inaugural season at home Friday, November 6 at 6:00pm.  Come support the Bobcats as they take on the Banana Slugs of UC Santa Cruz!

UC Merced Students (with Cat Card): Free
General Admission: $5
Non-UC Merced Students: $2
Childern under 12: Free

Tickets go on sale at noon Friday at the Recreation & Athletics office or you can get them at the door.  Get your tickets early seating is limited!

Basketball Pre-Game Fan Festival

Come and join in the celebration of our inaugural home basketball game by attending our pre-game Fan Fest.  Share in this tailgate type of event which will feature performances by the UCM Cheer team, Bobcat Girls Dance team and the UC Merced Band.

In addition, food and t-shirts will be available for purchase; and the men's and women's basketball teams and Bobcat mascot will be on hand for photo opportunities.  Join in the fun and games and try to win a prize for the "Most School Spirit."

Fan Fest is this Friday, November 6, from 4:00pm - 6:00pm on Muir Pass Road adjacent to the Joseph Edward Gallo Recreation & Wellness Center.

Fall hours in the Joseph Edward Gallo Recreation Center begin August 23, 2009.

Monday - Thursday 6:00am - 1:00am

Friday 6:00am - 10:00pm

Saturday, 10:00am - 10:00pm

Sunday, 12:00pm (noon) - 1:00am

Chancellors Blue Ribbon Commission Report on Intercollegiate Athletics
