What is Small Group Training?
Small Group Training is a combination of personal training and group fitness. Classes run for 6 weeks and will focus on a main topic. Classes will take place weekly and you must register to attend. The classes will have the same instructor/trainer and group of participants each week.

Class Descriptions/Information
Intro to Weight Training
Class Description: Intro to weight training will teach you how to write a workout program, determine the right type and how to use different types of equipment, perform exercises correctly and more. This class will meet in the Gallo Training Room (Located in the back of the Gallo Weight Room).

Intro to Body Building
Class Description: This course provides the basics for how to train for Body Building. This course will go over, specifically, your goals, how to program and write a workout, how to use certain exercise equipment, basic to more advanced exercises. The focus of this course will be how to properly and safely structure a workout to fit your goals and how to perform different exercises.

Intro to Powerlifting
Class Description: This class will go through the major Powerlifting exercises. Learn the technique behind squatting, bench press and deadlifts. This class is intended for those who are interested in learning how to properly perform these exercises and those who are interested in improving their form.

Advance Body Building
Class Description: This class is perfect for those who have some knowledge in Body Building but are looking to gain more. This class will be in SAAC 207.

Couch to 5K
Class Description: The Couch to 5K class is a great introduction into running and getting conditioning to run a 5K. No running experience is required.
Location: Meeting at the Gallo Front Desk

Run Club
Class Description: This class is for those who are interested in running with other around campus. This a great way to get to know other who are interested in running; however, no running experience is required. This class will meet at the front desk of the Gallo Rec Center.

Intro to Self Defense
Class Description: In this class, you will be taught basiic self defense moves for different situations. This class is taught in the Gallo Training Room (located in the back of the Gallo Weightroom). This class is free for all students and members and $10 for non-members.
